Founded in Yakutsk in 2015 by the Gotovtsev brothers, Fntastic initially operated out of a small room, embarking on their maiden project, The Wild Eight, funded through Kickstarter.
The Wild Eight
The Wild Eight: Developed by Fntastic and published by HypeTrain Digital, The Wild Eight is an open-world survival simulation game set in Alaska's unforgiving wilderness. Players must collaborate to survive in this procedurally-generated world.
The game's alpha version debuted on Game Jolt on May 23, 2016, followed by its official release on Steam on October 3, 2019. Featuring a single-player mode, The Wild Eight offers a story-driven campaign and various quests. Fntastic successfully crowdfunded $50,000 through Kickstarter to support the game's development and community building efforts.
Set against the backdrop of a snowy desert following a plane crash, players can select from eight unique protagonists, each endowed with distinct skills. Drawing parallels with The Long Dark, The Wild Eight challenges players to scavenge for resources, seek warmth, find food, and secure shelter for survival.
Although Fntastic initially retained development rights, publisher rights were eventually transferred to another entity.

The Day Before made its grand debut on January 28, 2021, unveiling its potential on Fntastic's official YouTube channel. Subsequently, on February 2, IGN.com heralded the game's arrival via Twitter.
April 9 marked a pivotal moment with the release of a gameplay trailer on IGN's YouTube platform, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the game's immersive experience. Further, on October 15, IGN orchestrated a dedicated event for The Day Before, showcasing fresh game footage, premiering the full trailer, and unveiling the official release date: June 21, 2022. Additionally, it was revealed that the game is poised for launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The anticipation crescendoed with the release of the inaugural game trailer on January 5, 2022, captivating audiences with its dystopian allure.
However, the journey took an unexpected turn when, on May 5, IGN announced a revised release date of March 1, 2023, attributing the delay to the game's migration to Unreal Engine 5.
In the face of adversity, The Day Before promises a harrowing yet exhilarating expedition through the ruins of civilization, challenging players to adapt, survive, and thrive amidst the remnants of a world undone.
Propnight
a spine-chilling online multiplayer survival horror game, embraces the mechanics reminiscent of Prop Hunt. Crafted using the powerful Unreal Game engine, Propnight underwent a PC open beta phase on Steam from October 15 to October 18. Its official launch on Steam followed suit on December 1, 2021. In this 4v1 asymmetrical horror experience, four players assume the roles of Survivors while the fifth embodies the ominous Killer.
The objective for the Survivors is clear: secure escape for at least one of their own from the treacherous map. This entails repairing five out of seven machines scattered across the terrain, which in turn unveils the exit. To navigate the perilous pursuit, Survivors possess the ability to morph into nearby objects, employing stealth tactics to outmaneuver the relentless Killer.
Conversely, the Killer's mission is twofold: eliminate all four Survivors or thwart their escape entirely. Subduing a Survivor involves incapacitating them before placing them on a designated chair, where their demise awaits unless rescued by a fellow Survivor. However, each Survivor can only be rescued twice in this manner; any subsequent chair placement spells instant death.
October 25, 2022 marked a significant milestone with the release of Propnight Reborn, a substantial update brimming with fresh content. This includes an array of new game characters, maps, dynamic map events, revamped character abilities and perks, an enhanced game progression system, public ranking medals, and achievements. Furthermore, developers diligently rebalanced gameplay mechanics, revamped existing maps, enhanced graphical fidelity and physics, introduced new effects, overhauled the user interface, implemented object destructibility, and rectified various game mechanics.
